The TempStick data logger (all versions) can be put in a stand by status after being programmed for a new mission. If a metal clip is been inserted on the communication flat end of the logger itself (the part inserted in the interface) the logger won't start recording. As soon as the clip is removed, the acquisitions will start. In this way you can send many pre-programmed loggers to the sender of the products without providing the software and interface. Before sending the goods, just remove the clip to start the acquisitions. The clip can be put then on the back of the logger, so to use it again next time.
